Finance Manager

We are looking for a Finance Manager for Mehiläinen finance department in Helsinki

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the correctness of the Group’s certain Finnish subsidiaries’ accounting (FAS) and fixed assets.
You will be a supervisor for Accountants and be a member of the finance management team. Your main goal is to take care of your team and lead it to excellent results, but also to make sure that financial reporting, VAT and income tax obligations have been done with high quality and within deadlines.

We expect you to have:

• A higher university degree suitable for the position (e.g. MSc Econ.)
• A few years of work experience in more demanding finance related tasks (previous experience e.g. in audit tasks in a Big 4 company is considered an advantage)
• Experience in a supervisory role and in leading teams to excellent results
• Knowledge and interest in developing finance controls and processes
• Proactiveness and initiative, stress tolerance, ability to take responsibility, and excellent communication skills
• Excellent project management skills and an attitude to get things done in a positive and solution-oriented way
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills; both in written and spoken. German language skill is considered an advantage
