You can book an appointment for the general practitioner emergency service if it is not an accident, for example, a sudden illness. Such situations include, for example:
- suddenly started or worsened infectious disease
- pain, for example, in the head, abdomen, or back
- wounds, burns, or frostbite.
Non-urgent care
If your situation does not require acute treatment, you can book an appointment with physicians specialized in accidents who are specialized in examining and treating musculoskeletal problems.

Price and payment methods for the emergency accident service
The estimated price for a visit to the emergency accident service is 110–402 €. The physician on duty at the emergency accident service can provide the exact prices for examinations and procedures before images are taken or procedures are performed.
The price consists of:
- specialist fees
- necessary examinations such as X-rays
- treatment, for example, casting and related supplies
- as well as a service and Kanta fee.
Imaging studies are charged separately.
- Prices for individual X-rays vary between 132–293 €.
- Prices for other imaging studies (magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound scan) vary depending on the scope between 201–880 €.
