The global situation challenged 113-year-old Mehiläinen and the entire social and healthcare service sector exceptionally in 2022. The COVID-19 pandemic, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the labour shortage and high inflation rates contributed to an unforeseeable operating environment, which impacted our profitability. At Mehiläinen, we continued to focus on our mission during the challenging year 2022: creating better health and well-being.
