Digital Clinic is particularly suitable for situations where symptoms are clear and identifiable, and no physical examination is needed to make a diagnosis or start treatment.
At Digital Clinic, you can treat allergies, cold and stomach symptoms, rashes, eye symptoms, urinary tract infections, receive health advice, or renew prescriptions.
How to visit a general practitioner
Bring previous test results and medical records from other treatment locations and a list of medications you use to the general practitioner's appointment. This helps the general practitioner understand your health comprehensively. Measurements related to certain diseases, such as blood pressure, blood sugar, or PEF blow monitoring, also assist the doctor in their assessment.

You can book an appointment with a general practitioner either online or by phone. You can also easily access Digital Clinic around the clock.
Arrive at the appointment 10 minutes before the scheduled time. You can check in using the OmaMehiläinen app, by showing your a valid identity document (identity card, passport, or driver's license) at the check-in kiosk, or by checking in at the service desk.
If you are visiting Mehiläinen for the first time, check in at the service desk. From the service desk, you will receive a form regarding the shared use of the patient register, which you can fill out while waiting.
If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection, primarily check in using the OmaMehiläinen app. In this case, it is also good to use a face mask to prevent infections.
The general practitioner will discuss your symptoms and health status with you and perform necessary physical examinations, such as examining the throat or skin, measuring blood pressure, or listening to the lungs and heart.
After basic examinations, the doctor may order further tests, such as imaging or laboratory tests, to refine the diagnosis and treatment.
The doctor will make a diagnosis and create a treatment plan, which may include medication, lifestyle changes, further tests, or referral to another healthcare professional.
