Welcome to register as a customer of Mehiläinen health centre

Anyone living in Finland, regardless of their place of residence, can register with us as a customer and receive new types of health services at prices equalling those of the public health care service. We can offer you the same services as the municipal health centre. You can change your health centre once a year and, if you are in a certain area repeatedly, you can also choose a secondary health centre whose services you are entitled to use. The one-year time limit is not binding if you move clearly further away from the health centre of your choice.

Family members

Family members can be customers of different health centres. Children do not automatically move with their parents.

Occupational health care

Despite the fact that you mainly use occupational health care, you can still register with the health centre. Occupational health care only provides certain services included in the contract. Registration with a health centre does not affect occupational health care in any way.

Changing of health centre

If you decide to change your health centre outside your municipality of residence, please note that all of the following services will also be transferred to the other municipality:

medical and nursing services at the health centre
distribution of medical supplies
advice on health issues, health examinations, certificates, screening
health clinic services
oral health care services
medical rehabilitation and services related to assistive and aid devices, rehabilitation guidance
mental health and substance abuse services
short-term inpatient treatment

Log in and authenticate
Log in using your online banking credentials or mobile certificate.
Fill and submit the notification
Fill out the notification separately for each family member changing their health centre.
Children do not automatically transfer with their parents. A change notification for a minor child requires the consent of both guardians.
As a guardian, you can make a change notification on behalf of minor children using the digital form if you have the suomi.fi authorization for acting on behalf of others.

Note: Other authorizations for acting on behalf of others, such as for elderly persons, do not yet work with the digital form.
Notification via email
You will receive an email notification once your request has been processed. You can then start using the services of your chosen health centre.

Once your request has been processed, you will receive a notification by post. You can then start using the services of your chosen health centre. Until then, use the services of your current health centre.

You can change the health center by logging into palse.fi or by filling in the form, you can select Health Centre Mehiläinen Tikkakoski, Korpilahti or Säynätsalo as your public health centre.

Please deliver the completed notification form to both your current and new health centre.
Print two copies of the notification form and sign them.
Mark the return envelope with “Change of health centre”.

To change your health centre within Turku, a notification is sufficient, either to your new or former health centre. If you choose to change your health centre to another municipality, you must notify both the new and the former health centre.
