Matti Bergendahl, long time CEO of Mehiläinen Oy, left his position on the 22nd of September.
- I would like to thank Matti Bergendahl for his strong leadership and commitment to Mehiläinen for so many years. The field of social and health care services is currently undergoing significant change. To continue to thrive, Mehiläinen now needs new perspectives and a new kind of strong leadership. Therefore, we reached the conclusion with Matti Bergendahl that this is the right time to find a new CEO for Mehiläinen, says Mikael Lilius, Chairman of the Board at Mehiläinen Oy.
Until a new CEO is appointed, Vice President for Working Life Services Ove Uljas will act as interim CEO in addition to his own responsibilities.
