Change of Ownership in Mehiläinen’s Parent Company Ambea - Ambea Group reinforces its development with new owner Triton

Ambea Group, the largest private provider of health care and nursing services in the Nordic Countries, is changing hands and moving under the ownership of Triton. The transition is expected to be finalised at the end of March. Mehiläinen Group is Finland’s best-known, top-rated private social and health services provider, and part of Ambea Group. Ambea Group also incorporates Carema Sjukvård and Carema Care, which operate in Sweden and Norway.

With offices in Stockholm, Frankfurt and London, Triton has extensive experience in the strategic development of companies through cooperation with company management. The Finnish investors in Triton’s funds include the Local Government Pensions Institution and Tapiola.

“Mehiläinen has grown and developed considerably as a part of Ambea Group, to which it was affiliated in spring 2006.
