Mehiläinen Group selected as government national health care service provider
11.11.2009
The Mehiläinen Group has been chosen as one of the government's contracted national health care service providers from the beginning of 2010. Hansel Oy, the organisation responsible for government procurement tenders, has chosen Mehiläinen to be one of the two national service providers for the whole of mainland Finland, chosen under the so-called 'framework agreement'. Mehiläinen has developed extensive health care services over recent years.
"Health care customer companies and their personnel place their trust in Mehiläinen services and service availability, and we are achieving an ever-increasing presence in Finnish workplaces in support of the well-being of personnel. We are delighted to have again been selected as a service provider for government organisations," says Mehiläinen CEO Matti Bergendahl.
Government organisations are able to procure their health care services on a regional basis from five selected service providers, under a so-called 'second round' of tendering. Mehiläinen and its partners are ready to take on the responsibility for government personnel health care services throughout the country.
