Mehiläinen ranked the most trusted private medical centre in Finland for the seventh time
Press Release 28.2.2024
Mehiläinen has once again been chosen as the most trusted private medical centre in Finland in the 2024 Trusted Brand survey by the Finnish Reader’s Digest. The 45.5 per cent share of mentions in the Private medical centre category is the highest in history for private medical centres.
Each category of the Trusted Brand survey assesses quality, price, strong brand image, understanding consumers’ needs and ethical responsibility. Nearly 2,300 people responded to the survey, and a total of 816 respondents named the brand in the Private medical centre category.
- Being selected as the most trusted private medical centre is a great indicator of Finnish consumers’ extensive trust in Mehiläinen. It’s great that we have received this recognition seven times, five of which have been awarded in a row, says Karolus Viitala, Business Unit Director, Private Customers and Marketing.
The study shows that Mehiläinen was the most trusted private medical centre in all the age groups studied, in different households, and widely in different areas around Finland. The trust levels were highest among people under 50 (53%) and those with families (54%). Half of the survey respondents stated that they are a Mehiläinen customer.
- The results also confirm our understanding, based on other studies, that Mehiläinen’s brand image and consumers’ trust in Mehiläinen are strong not only among our customers but also widely among Finns. Mehiläinen’s brand recognition is more than 90 per cent in Finland, and in 2023, the NPS, which measures customer satisfaction and loyalty, rose to an all-time high of 90 per cent. Our own data also shows that over the past years, Mehiläinen has become the most preferred operator by a clear margin, and our superior position in spontaneous recognition continues, Viitala says.
The Trusted Brands survey has been conducted in Finland 24 times. The respondent sample was drawn from CIL Suomi Oy’s customer register (1, 567) and Norstat Finland’s online panel (729). The Private medical centre category was included in the study for the 12th time.
