Download the free OmaMehiläinen app or use the online service. You can take care of your occupational health matters directly in the app when it suits you. Through the service, you will have access to, among other things, a comprehensive video library with information on coping and supporting mental well-being. There are also different individual programmes available for occupational health customers that are focused on lifestyle changes and range from the treatment of sleep problems to nutrition coaching.

Through OmaMehiläinen Digital Clinic , you can get help for your health concerns around the clock without an appointment. The Digital Clinic’s remote appointments are more affordable than visiting a doctor in person, and they save both travel and work time. In Digital Clinic, you can send your questions and, if necessary, photos to a doctor or nurse and renew your prescriptions. You will usually get a response within a few minutes. You will be charged a fee for your remote appointment only if you can be treated remotely.

Commencement of occupational health care cooperation and receipt of the MATA customer benefit 

When the occupational health agreement has been concluded, an occupational health nurse will enter the new customer into the Mela farm visit application. The information is transmitted to Mela’s invoicing system, and the customer receives a 20% customer benefit on the MATA insurance premium typically from the beginning of the next calendar year.

The entrepreneur is only charged a deductible

Mehiläinen has a direct compensation agreement with Kela for occupational health care services. The occupational health agreement includes a section on direct compensation, and the customer accepts the procedure by signing the agreement. The agricultural entrepreneur’s direct compensation is subject to valid MYEL insurance, and the farm visit and action plan must also be completed before reimbursement is paid. Only the deductible is invoiced to the customer. Kela does not reimburse the share of VAT that may be included in the invoice, such as the VAT included in the fee of an agricultural expert. As an employer, you are required to organise occupational health care services for all your employees. You are in charge of occupational health and safety at your farm, but you can also utilise the expertise of occupational health care providers when assessing the risks of the working conditions. Mela’s farm visit application streamlines the farm visit and its reporting, and paper forms are only needed in special cases. The farm visit report is delivered to the customer through the farm visit application. In the application, the customer can also fill in the farm visit information form, contact occupational health, read reports and confirm that possible development areas have been addressed.
