We develop our operations in cooperation with our subscriber-customers, and have been strongly involved in several large emergency clinics in, for example, the implementation of triage and nurse-led reception projects.
Tailored on-call services
The on-call physician services provided by Mehiläinen are implemented in accordance with the needs of the wellbeing services county, almost always with a delivery guarantee.
We currently provide on-call physician services outside office hours for the following hospitals, among others:
- Jorvi Hospital
- Malmi and Haartman Hospital and New Children’s Hospital
- Päijät-Häme Central Hospital (Akuutti24)

- Ylöjärvi, Lempäälä and Pirkkala health centres
- Kurikka and Ilmajoki health centres
- Pielavesi and Siilinjärvi as well as
- Länsi-Pohja Central Hospital.
In addition, we are responsible for several daytime on-call services either by delivering an on-call physician with a delivery guarantee to the wellbeing services county’s desired location or by taking full responsibility for the operation of daytime acute care services at health centres outsourced to Mehiläinen in different parts of Finland.
