Telia Finland supports operational development with a business-specific workplace survey
In Finland, Telia is well-known as a major telecommunications operator, but it is also one of the country’s largest ICT service providers and one of the largest TV companies in the Nordic countries. Telia employs 4,000 people in Finland, and 20,000 internationally.
In 2022, Telia Finland carried out a business-specific workplace survey in close cooperation with its personnel and Mehiläinen's multidisciplinary occupational health care team. The planning of the workplace survey and results analysis are carried out in close cooperation with business management, supervisors and employees' representatives. It is important that business line management is involved throughout the process, as this allows identification of stumbling blocks, if any, as soon as the results are analysed, and the measures required can be planned together with occupational health and safety.
“For us, it is important in business to continuously develop the prerequisites for success. This workplace survey is one element that helps us move forward with our development efforts. As it is embedded in the actual work, our operations, it is not a separate element given to us from the outside,” explains Minna Hurmalainen, People Partner, B2B, Telia Finland.
